Ethnic costumes: GIÁY ETHNIC GROUP
The costumes of the Giáy people are similar to those of the Hán people. Men wear wide black or white trousers and predominantly black short-sleeved shirts, some in white, fastened with fabric buttons. The cotton scarf is dyed with indigo with star-like white dots in squares, rectangles, triangles, diamonds, tree shapes, leaf shapes, etc. In the past, both men and women only wore self-woven and indigo-dyed cotton fabric. The distinctive feature of women's trousers is that the waistband can be made of colored fabric, especially in red, and has a drawstring, while men only cross and use a belt. Regarding jewelry, men wear minimal accessories, and if any, it is usually a silver or gold ring.
